INDUSTRY VISIT - T.W.T Group Inc.

(Reflection Blog)

The industry visit to T.W.T Group Inc. (Riot Staffing) on April 25, 2025, held at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ), was a meaningful and enriching experience for us IT students. As part of our course on IT Seminars and Educational Trips, the visit gave us the opportunity to witness how a real-world tech company operates, especially in the areas of software solutions, virtual machines, networking, and troubleshooting.

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and Sir Leo, the professional speaker for the session, humbly introduced himself. He shared his role and walked us through the company’s operations, showcasing their innovative websites, software solutions, and ongoing projects. His explanations on virtual machines, networking, firewalls, and troubleshooting techniques helped us see how these technologies are applied in real business environments. It was fascinating to learn how technical knowledge is used to solve practical problems and support organizational success.

A key highlight of the visit was the Q&A session, where we got the chance to directly interact with Sir Leo. He shared valuable insights about tech careers, the tools they use, the work culture at T.W.T Group Inc., and the challenges faced in the IT industry. His honest and encouraging advice emphasized the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, and strong communication skills. He also shared his personal journey, showing us that with hard work, curiosity, and the right mindset, anyone can succeed in the tech field.

Overall, the visit to T.W.T Group Inc. was inspiring and educational. It gave us a better understanding of how the concepts we learn in class are applied in real companies. The experience motivated me to keep improving my technical skills, stay updated with new technologies, and maintain a humble and growth-oriented attitude toward my future career in IT.
