GC CCS TECH FEST 2025

(Reflection Blog - Organizer)

The GCCCS Tech Fest 2025 took place on February 2025 at Marikit Park, Olongapo City. Organized by the 4th-year students of the CCS Department, the event was aimed at raising funds to renovate the department's Mac Lab, while also showcasing the incredible talents and collaborative spirit of the CCS student body.

The event was a comprehensive tech experience, featuring a mix of interactive booths, tech exhibits, and competitions, alongside fun and engaging activities for students and the local community. One of the key highlights was the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and learn about the latest trends in design, coding, and digital innovations. The hands-on approach allowed participants to get a glimpse of the possibilities in the tech world, making it not only educational but also highly interactive.

A major takeaway from the event was the importance of building and nurturing tech communities. The event emphasized how collaboration and networking within such communities foster innovation, learning, and the sharing of knowledge. It was evident that when tech enthusiasts come together, the opportunities for growth and creative solutions are endless. This aligns with the broader goal of creating an ecosystem where learning and development are continuous, and individuals can thrive through shared ideas and experiences.

Reflecting on the event's success, it’s clear how initiatives like these have a lasting impact on both personal growth and community development. The funds raised for the Mac Lab renovation will undoubtedly enhance the learning experience for future students, allowing them to work with modern technology and tools. More importantly, the connections made at the event—whether through the booths, discussions, or collaborations—have contributed to the broader tech ecosystem in Olongapo City.

Overall, GCCCS Tech Fest 2025 wasn’t just a fundraising event—it was a celebration of technology, creativity, and community. The participants left the event not only with a greater understanding of the tech world but also with a renewed sense of inspiration to continue exploring, learning, and creating. It was an experience that embodied the power of collaboration and the endless possibilities that technology offers.
